Dear members of FilmSoc,
Given that we were unable to fill key committee positions during the previous autumn elections held by the Union, we are running them again (this time without the 28-day limit).
Where will the elections take place?
Everything will happen online, on our forum. You will need an account to nominate yourself, as well as for voting.
How can I nominate myself?
We will open threads on Thursday 3rd Dec for every position. Find the respective thread and post your nomination. We will then lock the threads at 00:01 GMT Monday 7th Dec.
How can I vote?
Voting will be open from 00:01 GMT Monday 7th Dec until Friday 11th 16:00 GMT. Votes will be monitored to make sure they come from actual members of FilmSoc, as we are aware that there are accounts belonging to other societies’ members that we have collaborated with. You should only vote for one candidate.
When will the results be announced?
After verifying the votes, we will publish on Saturday morning the results, both on our forum and social media.
