AniaJuszczyk Hi! We’ve prepared a spreadsheet with the available equipment (which will be posted on the forum) and we will be hosting training sessions as soon as the Union allows us to. We hope that this happens before Term Two ends, but it’s hard to know what will happen in a few weeks time at this point.
And yes, the forum is a great place for posting your film ideas and asking for help! I’d recommend you include an email address on your posts in case people prefer to contact you directly instead of replying to the thread. Please remember to post with the appropriate tag (if you doubt, the general discussion tag works for everything too). We’re thinking of including a section in the newsletter for new forum threads, so this is also a good way of spreading the word about any projects that our members are working on and want to showcase here on the forum. We want to make communication between FilmSoc members as easy and useful as possible this year, given the lack of community spirit that the pandemic has caused. If you’ve got any ideas on how we can improve the forum, please let us know!
