The time has come for all those at UCL with an interest in filmmaking to put themselves forward for filling out the roles we’ll need on set and in post-production.
Above all else, our Drama Production aims to foster a collaborative, creative, and productive community of crew and cast. At the same time, we see the shoots as an opportunity to meet like-minded people with the common goal of coming away having learned something, met someone, and produced a film they are proud of!
IMPORTANT: DoP APPLICATIONS WILL BE SEPARATE, LOOKOUT FOR THE DETAILS IN THE CHAT, FORUM, AND INSTAGRAM!
Starting now, students can apply to become a crew member of FilmSoc’s 2022/2023 Term 3 Film.
You have until the 4th of June, 23:59, to write one side of an A4 sheet (max) to tell us which role you are interested in, any prior experience in that specific role, as well as your overall background on yourself as a filmmaker! If you have a portfolio of any previous work, please attach it to your application.
- You may apply for multiple roles if there are several aspects of filmmaking you want to pursue/have knowledge of. However, if selected, you will be given one role.
- If you are simply looking to get general experience being on set, please mention it and you may be chosen to be a specific assistant/runner!
Once again, experience in films is not essential, although of course, it is worth mentioning if you have it. If not, please use some examples in other fields that demonstrate your skills!
