On Sunday 5th June, we’ll be hosting a selective workshop that will teach members how to use the 1965 Arri 16 BL film camera. The workshop will start at 10:00 and likely finish around 18:00, and will include maintenance, loading, operation, and standard practise, as well as much, much more. This is aimed to be a workshop for students with prior camera experience, and also those that may have experimented with film before in still format. The workshop will be delivered by President Saul Lotzof and Studio and Equipment Manager Harry Traherne.
You must have substantial camera experience to apply, and any other experience related to celluloid (such as film photography) will benefit your application. This is a small, selective workshop, since it is difficult to teach the material we aim to teach with a very large group.
Please apply using the link in our bio by 29/05 at 23:59. Production membership is required. We look forward to seeing you soon, and teaching you about this wonderful camera!
