Femfilm was founded as a creative platform to help amplify voices and tackle the gender inequality that still persists in the film industry. Applications are open to all who self-identify as women or are non-binary.
To be considered, please submit a one side A4 sheet (max) telling us why you should be the next FemFilm’s director. Think about the qualities that are important for a director to have and how you may have demonstrated it in the past. The deadline for submission is 20/01/2023 at 23:59.
It is not essential to have experience in filmmaking, although we definitely encourage you to mention it! We would also love to see a portfolio of previous work if you have any.
We will be inviting some of the applicants to take a look at the screenplay we’ve chosen in advance of an interview, where they will present their ideas on the project.
