Have you ever wanted to have creative control over a project, as well as a crew that will be able to accomplish and fulfil your vision? Are you able to multi-task, problem-solve, and creatively guide the crew? If so, directing a Term Film may be for you!
Starting now, students can apply to become the director of FilmSoc’s 2022/2023 Term 1 Film. :
You have until Sunday the 30th of October, midnight to write one side of an A4 sheet (max) to tell us why you should be this term’s director. If you have a portfolio or any previous work, please attach it to your application.
Experience in films is not essential, although of course it is worth mentioning if you have it. If not, please use some examples in other fields that demonstrate directorial skills.We will be inviting some of the applicants to take a look at the screenplay we’ve chosen in advance of an interview, where they will present their ideas on the project.
