Have an idea for a documentary? Love research? The term 1 documentary is now looking for a researcher!
The researcher’s role is to, well, research material that will be covered in the documentary. You’ll be providing the relevant background information, sources, content etc. – anything that would be useful in creating a cohesive argument/narrative. If you’ve got a subject that you’re keen on exploring further or you’ve already done some research on it, now’s the time to send it in!
I will be reaching out to a few applicants for interviews. Researchers will then be selected based on creativity/originality as well as the project’s feasibility within our time and budget constraints (meaning it will have to be doable on a two day shooting schedule). Depending on the researcher’s involvement as well as past experience, there may also be an opportunity for the researcher to direct as well.
DEADLINE: Sunday, Nov 6 at 11:59pm.
